About Us
At Walk Time, we believe in the power of a good walk for our West Toronto dogs. Not just to exercise the body, but to calm the mind, build trust, and nurture connection.
In 2018, Walk Time was born. Built entirely through word-of-mouth and referrals, we’ve grown into a trusted, values-based business rooted in personalized care and long-term relationships. We don’t believe in cookie-cutter walks as we take the time to know each dog and family, to foster lasting bonds, and to create a routine that suits every pup’s unique needs.
For us, this isn’t just work — it’s a privilege. Every walk offers a moment of presence, a connection with nature, and a deep reminder of the simple joy dogs bring into the world. Their love is pure, their needs honest. It’s a gift to meet them there.

Our Values

Christina Bowe
Founder & Owner, Walk Time
From a young age, Christina knew she wanted to work with animals. A lifelong student of both human and animal nutrition, she has always been drawn to the connection between care, well-being, and presence — especially with dogs.
That connection deepened when she met Finnigan, a German Shepherd–Lab mix she rescued from the Humane Society. Traumatized and anxious, Finnigan would claw through doors, press elevator buttons, and bolt into the street. But over time — through patience, structure, and unconditional love — he transformed. He became one of the most affectionate and trusting dogs Christina ever knew.
That slow, sacred process of healing is what inspired her to become a dog walker in 2012. She began walking dogs of all kinds and found herself learning as much as she gave. Every walk became a quiet lesson in trust, timing, and energy.
They taught her to slow down and listen. She helped them feel safe and confident on the leash. That mutual exchange became the foundation of her work.
By 2018, she launched Walk Time, grounded in those same values: consistency, connection, and deep respect for every dog’s emotional life.
She now shares her home with Pax, a white French Bulldog and the undisputed alpha of the household. Despite his compact size, Pax is calm, confident, and socially fluent and is a natural at holding space for dogs of all kinds. He’s also known for his signature move: spontaneous triple axel spins of pure joy. At nine years old, Pax still twirls like a puppy, reminding Christina daily of the beauty in small, silly moments.
Christina lives in Bloor West Village, where she raised her children and built strong roots in the community. She knows the local parks, markets, and corner shops — and so do the dogs she walks. It’s a small-town feeling in the middle of the city, and it’s home.
“No matter how I’m feeling when the day begins, spending time with the dogs always brings me back to myself.”
For Christina, dog walking is more than a job, it’s a rhythm of presence, a connection to nature, and a quiet exchange of trust between species.
Outside of walking, she enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, and dreaming up her next adventure which is a handmade dog biscuit company.
She believes animals are pure souls, and caring for them is not just work, but a privilege.
